Amphy Calma, BSc.,OMP, RMT, CLT – Clinic Director

The driving force behind the Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Centre, Amphy Calma has been a Certified Laser Therapist (CLT) since 2005. She was one of the first laser therapists to operate in Calgary and maintains her passion for her work through the success rates of her clients’ rehabilitation, which she measures at about 90%. Amphy also has a physical therapy degree from the Philippines and is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) specializing in LENSEN™ techniques. LENSEN™ works to painlessly realign joints, bones and tissue to restore normal, pain-free range of motion. She is also have a Diploma in Manual Osteopathy which she believe is the missing piece of the puzzle on her practice. She is also a RAPID Upper and Lower Body Therapist.

Owning her own clinic was a dream of Amphy’s for many years that she was proud to realize in 2008 through the establishment of her first clinic, the Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Centre, in Calgary. The clinic administered more than 200,000 individualized and customized treatments in its 15 years. She was once a director on the board of the Peace for Paul Foundation, a charity operating children’s homes in Uganda, and personally assisted a Ugandan child into the program while on a trip to the country.

Marian Joy Puapo, CLT– Physiotherapist ; Certified Laser Therapist

Marian is a Registered Physiotherapist and a Certified Laser Therapist in Canada. She has an extensive clinical work experience and worked in various clinics and hospitals around the globe. She incorporates everything she learned into her physiotherapy and laser practice. Marian is cheerful and very passionate about her job. She does her best to help every client she sees.

During her free time, she loves to cook, go for a swim or walk and also, she likes out of town trips to the mountains.

Jackielou C. Lintag, Physiotherapist ; CLT – Certified Laser Therapist

A certified laser therapist, Jackie has treated a wide variety of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Her peers and clients describe her as a diligent researcher who is patient-oriented and passionate about her desire to help. The abilities and benefits of laser technology in combination with manual therapies have been inspirational in her work.

Jackie worked at the Academe as a Clinical Instructor in physiotherapy in the Philippines and then was a physiotherapist at a military hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With extensive experience already, Jackie is currently working towards a physiotherapy certification in Canada.
